9/21/2026: Portage Water Utility Annual Fall Flushing

The City of Portage Water Utility will begin conducting its annual fall flushing of the distribution system as of September 28th, 2026 and will continue approximately through October 23rd, 2026. Flushing will be done between the hours of 12:00 AM and 8:00 AM. If you notice discoloration of your water which persists after the flushing, please contact our office at 608/742-4727 between the hours of 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM Monday-Thursday and 8:00 AM to 12:30 PM Friday.
