The City of Portage Water Utility will begin its annual spring flushing on April 19, 2026. Please click here for more details.
UPDATE: The Portage Water Utility will begin conducting its annual spring flushing of the distribution system as of April 28, 2026 and will continue approximately through May 29, 2026. Flushing will be done between the hours of 12:00 AM and 8:00 AM. If you notice discoloration of your water which persists after the flushing, please contact our office at 608/742-4727 between the hours of 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM Monday-Thursday and 8:00 AM -12:30 PM Friday.
