NR854 Water Supply Service Area Plan - Public Availability

In accordance with Wisconsin Administrative Code NR854, the City of Portage has prepared a Water Supply Service Area Plan (Plan). The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources requires a Water Supply Service Area Plan for public water systems serving a population of 10,000 or more. The general purpose of the Plan is to inventory and assess the existing water supply sources and their ability to meet current and projected future water demands.
In accordance with NR854, a public informational meeting is scheduled for Thursday, December 11, at 5:30PM to review the proposed Plan and allow for public comment. A printed version of the plan is available for review at City Hall.
